Criminals turned loose too often; vote Dano

Letter to the Editor

I was raised and have lived most of my adult life in Ephrata. I have known Garth Dano for almost thirty years. It’s not often that we have an opportunity to elect a non politician so uniquely qualified at a time the county needs are matched perfectly to a candidate’s experiences and skill sets; I am excited to support Garth Dano for Grant County prosecutor.

Garth has over 30 years in private practice, owning, operating and managing a successful law firm. In those years Garth has helped his clients with a broad range of criminal and civil matters. As a defense attorney, his background and experiences will allow him to understand defense strategies and capitalize on those experiences in helping Grant County fight crime. As a civil attorney and private business owner, Garth’s experience will serve the county commissioners well and avoid costly litigation the county has faced the past few years

I have many friends in law enforcement, and it gets pretty discouraging for them to work hard to investigate and arrest criminals in this county only to have them released back onto the streets with too often regularity; we all have read the same names of criminals over and over again in the paper. Garth Dano is the perfect candidate to work with law enforcement to create unique, creative and effective approaches to send the signal that crime will not be tolerated in Grant County.

Garth has been blessed with extreme intellect, fierce competivness and a great personality. We are so fortuninate that Garth Dano is seeking the office of prosecuting attorney; join me in voting Garth Dano for prosecuting attorney.ß
