Meeting dates change

Port District 7 commissioners have changed their meeting dates for November and December because both dates fall on holidays — Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Port District, which meets at the airport office, will meet Nov. 20 and Dec. 18. Meetings start at 5 p.m.

Port budget over half

Port District 7 passed a $529,000 budget at its public hearing last Thursday. The budget predicts that for the first time in several years Banks Lake Golf Course will show a profit.

The budget showed anticipated revenues at the golf course to be $166,000 and the anticipated expenses to be $163,600. The Port District has operated the golf course for the past three years.

Basketball fund raiser

tonight

A Lake Roosevelt High School girls’ basketball fund raiser will be held tonight, Nov. 5, at the Coulee Dam Community Church beginning at 6 p.m. It will be an Indian taco dinner, and includes drink and dessert for $7 per person.
