Letter to the Editor
I am in complete agreement with Carol Netzel’s letter regarding the quarrels that have overtaken our community.
In Alfred Lord Tennyson’s well known New Years poem “Ring Out, Wild Bells” one stanza reads:
Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love and truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.
These words ring true in 2015 as they did in 1850.
So, please, neighbors, take Carol’s advice and do some soul searching.
We can do better than this.
