Celebrating 100 years

Mary Palanuk celebrates her Feb. 14 birthday as she claimed the 100-year mark with 37 friends and family members at the long-term care center at Coulee Medical Center Saturday afternoon. She first came to the Grand Coulee Dam area in 1938 and has lived here most of the time since, raising, with her husband, Mike, three sons - Michael, Larry and Marvin.
