Chamber to Meet

at Siam Palace

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet this Thursday, Feb. 19, at noon at the Siam Palace on Main St., Grand Coulee. Tom Poplawski, Grand Coulee city councilman will give a presentation on what it is like to serve as a city councilman.

Tax Forms Available

For those needing 1040 forms and instruction books they can be picked up at the Grand Coulee Dam Senior Center on Main Street in Grand Coulee.

Grant County

Fire Dist. 14 to Meet

Grant County Fire District 14 will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m., at the Electric City Fire Station.

Open Sewing at

Senior Art Room

Local AA Meetings

Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays at 7 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings. New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Vets Center. For more information call John 633-2448. These are open and non-smoking.

In Nespelem the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church. Contact Myrna 634-4921 for more information there.

TOPS Meetings

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 1524 meets on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. at Grand Coulee Senior Center prior to the exercise group gathering at 10 a.m. Come and join for the health of it. Due to popular demand the Chapter TOPS #WA1554 will be meeting Wednesdays with weigh-in from 5 to 5:30 p.m., and the meeting from 5:30 to 6:30, prior to the SAIL exercise class which starts at 6:30. They meet at the Coulee Dam Community Church-Presbyterian. For more information call Vivian Dugan 633-2164.

SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) exercise classes meet at the Coulee Dam Community Church, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. SAIL is a strength, balance and fitness class for adults 65 plus.
