2/22 - An officer stopped a motorcycle operator for failing to stop at an intersection on Spokane Way. He was cited for that and for not having an interlock device installed.

- An officer saw a man wanted on two warrants and stopped him near Pole Park. He was cited for driving while his license was suspended, failing to register his vehicle within 30 days and not having insurance. The vehicle was towed and the man was to be booked into Grant County Jail on the warrants.

- Dispatch advised police of a report of a man being half dressed at Continental Heights. Police found a man who was fully clothed and who denied he had been only half dressed. The report was from a third party and the incident was cleared.

- Police checked on an open gate at the arsenic treatment plant in Electric City. The officer closed and locked the gate.

- Police responded when an alarm was sounded at a radio tower area east of Lake Roosevelt. No one was found in the area and there was no sign of damage or of anything missing.

- Police issued a citation to a Coulee Dam woman who was operating a vehicle after dark without lights. She was cited for not having insurance and for not renewing her registration in time.

2/24 - An Electric City man was told if he trespassed on a certain property on Fifth Street NE in Electric City that he would be arrested.

- An Electric City woman turned in a wallet she found at Crown Point. The wallet contained $218 cash and several credit cards. Police tried to contact the owner and left word on the answering service that the wallet was being held at the department.

2/25 - A woman on Stevens Avenue in Electric City is being cited on two counts of first-degree animal cruelty after a woman walking her dog saw a dead dog in the yard there. The dog was on a chain and the chain was twisted in such a way that it strangled the dog. Another dog in the yard didn’t have food or water. A neighbor said that the dog’s owner had been away for a couple of days. Police saw that the dog still alive had water and food.

2/25 - There was a report of theft of some tool boxes at the Bureau of Reclamation industrial yard. Security personnel are going to review tapes to see who was in the area at the time the theft occurred.

2/26 - Police noticed that a vehicle at Coulee Gas had expired tabs. After the driver left the gas station, he was stopped near the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam. Police learned that the Moses Lake man had three warrants out for his arrest. He was arrested on the warrants and for driving with a suspended license. The offier found a clear plastic bag with a crystal-like material in it and it tested positive for methamphetamine. The man is in custody.

- A woman on Miller Avenue in Electric City reported that a man was looking in her window. When police questioned the man he first denied that he was looking in the window and then later said he was just looking for his father.

- A Banks Avenue woman was arrested and taken to Grant County Jail for allegedly making threats against her husband and his mother and hitting her husband with her fist. The two are not living together.

- A vehicle that was stopped the night before for speeding was stopped again and the driver was issued a citation for going 43 mph in a 30 mph zone.

2/27 - The door of a shed at the upper ball field at North Dam Park was forced open. It wasn’t determined at the time if anything was missing.

- A Department of Corrections officer reported that he had heard that a Young Street woman had been assaulted and was at Coulee Medical Center. When police went to CMC they learned that the woman had returned home. She told police that she hadn’t been assaulted but refused to allow the hospital to release her medical records to the officer.

3/1 - A woman at Continental Heights told police that she thought someone had been in her apartment while she was away. She said she didn’t think anything was missing but some items were not in their usual places. There were no signs of a forced entry and she was advised to have her locks changed.

- A man behind Banks Lake Pub was warned about urinating in public. His explanation was he just “had to go.”

- A Coulee Dam man was stopped on Midway Avenue when an officer noticed the vehicle he was driving had expired tabs. He was cited for that and for not having insurance.
