Lake Roosevelt Spelling Bee participants from fourth - to eighth-grade classes competed recently for first and second place to represent GCD School District at the NCW Regional Spelling Bee on March 19 at Eastmont Junior High School in East Wenatchee, beginning at 6 p.m. The champion at this regional contest will represent the area in the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
