Council seat open

Residents of Electric City who are interested in serving their city have until April 3, to submit a letter of interest for city council position 2, recently vacated by John Nordine, who became mayor.

City Clerk Jackie Perman said letters of interest must be received by 5 p.m., Friday, April 3, at city hall.

The decision on who will get the city council position will be determined by the city council.

When sending a letter of interest, address it to: City of Electric City, Box 130, Electric City, 99123.

If an interested party has questions concerning the position or on serving on the city council they can call the city clerk, 633-1510.
