Two vacancies exist on the Board of Directors for the Grand Coulee Dam School District. The Board is seeking letters of interest from those citizens living within the district’s Director District #5 and Director District #3 who wish to fill the appropriate vacancy. Candidates shall be United States citizens and qualified voters resident in the following described director district:
Director District 5
Starting at the intersection of Spokane Way and Main St. Northwest on Main St to Midway Ave.
Southwest on Midway Ave to Bridgeport HWY. Northerly on Bridgeport HWY to the southern boundary of Township 29, Range 30 E and Section 35. East following section line to western boundary of 2010 Coulee Dam city limits. Clockwise following city limits to Columbia River.
Northerly following Columbia River to School District boundary. Counterclockwise following School District boundary to the eastern crossing Columbia River excluding the area of the Fourth District. West through Columbia River to the northeast corner of Township 28, Range 30 E and
Section 12. South ¾ of a mile, West ½ of a mile (more or less) to the 2010 Grand Coulee city limits. West 1/3 of a mile to Eden Harbor Rd. Westerly on Eden Harbor Rd to Garner Ave.
West on Garner Ave to Wetzel St. South on Wetzel St to Martin Rd. South on Martin Rd to E Grand Coulee Ave. Northwest on E Grand Coulee Ave to Spokane Way. Northwest on Spokane Way to the point of the beginning.
Director District 3
This is an “at large” position with the only requirement being that the director must live within the boundaries of the school district.

The School Board will review the letters of interest at its regular meeting on June 1, 2015 and may select one or more interested candidates to be interviewed.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING
Grant County Port District No. 7 will hold a special meeting to select Engineering/Environmental Firm for the next five (5) years and to Adopt Greenhouse Policies for the Grand Coulee Dam Airport. Meeting will be held at the Grand Coulee Dam Airport, on Monday, June 1, 2015, at 12 noon.

Town of Elmer City
Front Street & Williams Street Sidewalk Project
INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Elmer City is requesting bids for the construction of a sidewalk project. Bids will be received at the Town of Elmer City, 505 Seaton Ave., Elmer City, WA 99124, until June 4, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Bids will be opened and read publicly immediately following the close of bid receipt. No late or faxed bids will be accepted.
There will be no pre-bid conference for this project; however, bidders may visit the site to view the existing conditions.
The project includes construction of approximately 500 feet of sidewalk, curb & gutter on Front Street between Orchard Street and SR155 and 250’ of sidewalk, curb & gutter on Williams Street between Seaton Avenue and 3rd Avenue. The improvements also include the addition of detectable warning surfaces, sidewalk ramps, and concrete driveway approaches. The approximate construction cost is $150,000.

Bid must be submitted on the forms provided with the Contract Documents. A 5% bid bond will be required. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful contractor. The contractor must be capable of meeting all insurance and bonding requirements.
This project is funded by the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB), and is subject to all applicable state laws and regulations. All work performed on this project will be subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates.
The Town of Elmer City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgment, accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest.

There will be a special Board Meeting of the Commissioners of Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, & Okanogan Counties Public Hospital District #6 on June 5, 2015 at 4:30PM in the Education Conference Area. The Board will immediately move to Executive Session to discuss Legal issues per RCW 42.30.110(i). No decisions will be made following the Executive session.

NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY that the Electric City Council will hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015 at the City Hall located at 10 Western Avenue to take public testimony on proposed amendments to the Zoning Code, Title 18 of the Electric City Municipal Code. The amendments to the zoning code have been developed by the Planning Commission and staff to address: definitions and increasing height and size regulations in 18.40.020 for accessory structures in residential zones; clarifying fence height and location regulations in 18.45.080; and adding a new section on home occupations to eliminate the requirement for a Conditional Use Permit for specific home businesses. Copies of the proposed amendments are available for review at City Hall. All persons requiring assistance in accessing City Hall or needing other assistance are requested to contact City Hall at 633/1510 prior to the hearing.
