Chamber at the

Moose Lodge

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will be meeting this Thursday, July 30, at noon, at the Moose Lodge in Grand Coulee. Dan Foster Superintendent at Lake Roosevelt National Recreational Area will be the guest speaker.

Food Bank

The food bank at the Church of the Nazarene has normal operating hours of every Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. It is located at the Church of Nazarene, Hwy 174, Grand Coulee. The bank still can use clean, plastic grocery bags.

CMC Guild to Meet

The Coulee Medical Center Guild (Auxiliary) meets the second Monday of each month at noon at Coulee Medical Center. Next month’s meeting is set for Monday, August 10. Join us for lunch. A shoe drive fund raiser has begun.

Local AA Meetings

Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays at 6 p.m., and Fridays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings. New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center. These are open and non-smoking.

In Nespelem the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church. Contact Myrna 634-4921 for more information there.

Pinochle at the Seniors

Free pinochle is offered at the Grand Coulee Senior Center Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning at 1 p.m.
