The 35th annual Western and Native Art Show, sponsored by the Okanogan County Artists, will take place Stampede Weekend, August 13, 14, and 15, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Courtyard, 28 N. Main in downtown Omak. Artists from Washington, British Columbia, and Montana will be showing their best works, including wood carvings, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, and mixed media, such as paintings on feathers and old ledgers. There will be a reception from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday with a live auction at 2:30 p.m. There is no admission charge.
