Raider harriers finish regular season at Oroville

Raider cross country runners finished the regular season at Oroville last Saturday at the Oroville Invitational.

In a field featuring good teams from across the region, the Raider boys finished seventh overall in team scoring. Three of the seven Raider boys running finished with a personal record time. Only two girls represented LR at Oroville.

Robert George finished first for LR again, crossing the line at 19 minutes, 17 seconds for 18th overall.

Jerry Palmer ran a PR time of 19:29 for second place on the Raider squad and 21st overall. Cole Trotter was the third finisher for LR in 20:34, coming in 40th overall.

Bradley Wilder came across the finish line at 20:56, a PR for him. Wilder placed 48th overall in the race.

Cameron Tillman was the next Raider finisher at 21:22 for 56th place overall. Then came Corban Wilder at the PR time of 21:30 for 62nd overall. Kaden Trotter was the final Raider boy across the finish line, crossing it at 22:02 for 65th place. The time between the first and last Raider was less than three minutes.

Loryn Moore led the Raider girls, finishing at 22:39. Kayla St. Pierre was the other girl to finish for LR, coming in at 23:41. Moore placed 13th, and St. Pierre 20th.

On Saturday, the Raiders will join the other District 6 B schools for the Central Washington B League Championships at Liberty Bell High School. Races start at 11 a.m.
