Early deadline due to Veterans Day holiday

The Star print edition next week will be out two days early, on Monday, due to the Veterans Day holiday falling on the newspaper’s normal Wednesday publication day.

The issue will include our annual salute to area veterans, and we wanted it in most readers’ hands before the holiday.

Accordingly, deadlines for the issue come very early. Community news, announcements and advertising needs to be in by Thursday at 5 p.m.
