Soap Lake - Roles have been cast for Masquers Theatre’s next production, or in this case productions, according to theatre manager Joanne Bracht. Three one-act comedies billed as Them Three will open February 12 and run three consecutive weekends, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. A firm belief in “laughter is the best medicine” is the motivating factor behind the production of Into the Window, written and directed by the talented Jeff Ames; Super Heroes Support Group, written by D.M. Larsen and directed by the mirthful Adam Zaleski; and Cheating Death, written by Kameron Kiltgaard and directed by the comedic Justin Rowland. All three directors have been on stage in several previous Masquers productions, but each of them steps up to bat as a first-time director with Them Three. The casts were hand-chosen by each director, but many of the actors appear in all three plays. Masquers fans will delight in the mixture of veteran actors such as Randy Brooks, Joanne Bracht, Christaphor Longstreet, and Teresa Sergneri, as well as some recent newcomers: Joey Hernandez, Nick Mahaney, Andrew Covarrubias and Missy Beyer, and first-timers such as Cynthia Beyer, Rosalee Chamberlain and Teresa Freeman. Tickets are $14 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $7 for children under 11. Opening night, all seats are $10. Tickets may be purchased online at http://www.masquers.com or by calling the box office at 509-246-2611 and leaving a message.
