NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

City of Electric City

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Electric City Council will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at City Hall, located at 10 Western Avenue, to take public testimony on proposed amendments to Title 18 of the Electric City Municipal Code. The amendments have been developed by the Planning Agency and staff to address: Electric City Municipal Code Title 18, Chapters 18.05.010 Definitions, 18.10 Zoning Map, 18.30 Central Business District, 18.35 Tourist Commercial District, 18.40.040 Temporary Uses, 18.40.070 District Use Chart, Table 1, 18.45.070 Clear Vision Requirements, 18.47.020 Landscape Buffer and Screening Requirements Applicability, 18.55 Non-Conforming Uses or Structures, 18.61 Manufactured, Modular and Factory-Built Homes, 18.63 Planned Development the addition of new sections 18.45.085 Auto Service and Repair Requirements and 18.45.090 Residential Care, Retirement and Treatment Facilities, and a new Chapter 18.57 Marijuana Regulation.

Copies of the proposed amendments are available for review at City Hall or on the Web site at electriccity.us. All persons requiring assistance in accessing City Hall or needing other assistance are requested to contact City Hall at 633-1510 prior to the hearing.

To the citizens of the City of Electric City, Washington: The City council has moved its regularly scheduled meeting from February 9 to February 2, due to a lack of quorum. The council meeting will start after the scheduled Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. All interested residents are encouraged to attend public meetings. City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOP

“SHARE YOUR VISION” FOR PARKS & RECREATION In ELECTRIC CITY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public workshop will be held by Electric City and the Grant County Health Department at 5:30 p.m. on February 11, 2016, at the Electric City Fire Station located at 15 Western Avenue, Electric City, Washington, to receive public input regarding the “Electric City Pathway and Revitalization Project” survey. We will be creating a survey for our community to gain opinions on future parks and recreation projects within our city.

The public is encouraged to attend, comment and be involved with sharing the vision of Electric City. You can also submit comments regarding the survey in writing to City of Electric City, PO Box 130, Electric City, WA 99123. Please call 633-1510 and let us know if you are planning on attending. Please call or visit electriccity.us for more information. The Fire Station is accessible to persons with disabilities.
