These mitigation measures include:
1. Client to use Best Management Practices for erosion and sediment control.
2. Construction activities will be scheduled to reduce traffic, dust and noise impacts.
3. An Unanticipated Discovery Plan (UDP) must be “in place” before construction. If earth-disturbing activities during project construction uncover cultural materials such as shell midden, faunal remains, stone tools, human remains, all work shall cease and the UDP plan will be followed. Applicable laws pertaining to archaeological resources including NAGPRA are required to be followed.
4. If earth disturbing activities during any area of the project uncover human remains, all work shall cease immediately and the area around the discovery shall be secured.
