Raider Baseball continued to find early season success last week, posting two more wins.
Lake Roosevelt improved to 4-0 with a doubleheader win over the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors March 23. The game was originally scheduled for March 22 but was postponed due to weather.
In the first game, the Raiders had to fight hard to earn a one-run win. The final score was LR 4, ACH 3.
In the second game, the Raiders’ offense exploded, and their defense stepped it up to record a big win at 15-2.
Last night, the Raiders played the last set of non-league games at home against the Soap Lake Eagles.
LR has time now to practice before taking on the tough Brewster Bears at Brewster on April 5. Brewster has scored 86 runs in five wins, while allowing only two.
