The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will be meeting this Thursday, June 2, at Siam Palace in Grand Coulee. Debbie Bigelow, CEO of Coulee Medical Center, will be speaking about legislative issues that could affect your healthcare.
American Legion to Meet
The American Legion Post 157 will hold its regular meeting Tuesday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, 348 Mead, Grand Coulee, because of the yard sale.
Local AA Meetings
Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays and Fridays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul at 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings. New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Vet Center. These are open and non-smoking.
In Nespelem, the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church. Contact Myrna at 634-4921 for more information.
Free Compost Class
Learn how to compost your yard and garden waste at a free class on Thursday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m., in the Grant County Public Works public meeting room located at 124 Enterprise St. SE, Ephrata. The class will last approximately 60 minutes.
After attending the class, one participant from each household will receive a free, portable compost bin. Participants do not need to pre-register to attend.

TOPS Meetings
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 1524 meets on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. at Grand Coulee Senior Center prior to the exercise group gathering at 10 a.m. Come and join for the health of it. The SAIL exercise class follows at 10 a.m.
