A Primary Election will be held in the below mentioned districts for the purpose of submitting to the voters for their approval or rejection the following candidates and issues.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Colville Tribes Land Use Review Board will be holding a public hearing to make a ruling on the following land use and development permits:

The Colville Confederated Tribes has submitted a land use and shoreline permit application for conditional use to develop and RV Park development south of the Pacific Aquaculture net pens on Columbia River Road. The development will include a well, septic system, RV park, single overnight camping area, restrooms, a boat ramp and electrical. The site is located approximately 7 miles from the Agency Campus on the Columbia River Road within Tribal Tract 101-T4215; Township 31 North, Range 30 East, Section 31 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.

Paul Sweat has submitted a land use and development application following a violation notice being issued on an unpermitted development. He will be applying for a conditional use permit to place a single-wide mobile home and construct a 16’x48’ storage shed and a 38’x14’ drying shed for fruit. The property is commonly known as 7314 Highway 155 on Rondeau Road east of Omak, WA. It is within Township 33 North, Range 27 East, Section 11; Okanogan County Parcel #3327110005 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.

A public hearing for the above mentioned land use and development Permit Applications will be conducted on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at the Lucy Covington Government Facility (Colville Indian Agency) starting at 9:30 a.m. Written comments will be accepted until June 28, 2016 at 4 p.m. or comments can be made verbally at the public hearing. All comments may be sent to Pete Palmer, Land Use/Shoreline Administrator, P.O. Box 150, Nespelem, WA 99155 or they can be faxed to her attention at 509-634-2581. You can also contact the Tribal Planning Department at the afore-mentioned address or phone number to request a copy of the permit documents.
