Obituary
Luther Allen Leith, 37, was born November 16, 1978, in Grand Coulee, Washington, to Roy and Joanne Circle-Leith. He left us much too soon from Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, Saturday morning, June 18, 2016. A proud member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and Catholic Church, Luther graduated from Lake Roosevelt High School in 1997. To say that Luther "loved horses and rodeo" would be an understatement. He participated in the "High School National Finals Rodeo" and the "Indian National Finals Rodeo" as well as numerous rodeos throughout the western United States, competing in bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc, among other events. When not on horseback, Luther worked in construction, drove trucks, and loved spending time with his family.
Predeceased by his father, Roy Leith, and sister, Beverly Brewer, Luther's legacy lives on through his mother, Joanne Circle-Leith; life partner, Bernadette Heinen; children: Chandler Leith and Taneesha LaCourse; god-daughters: Heather Circle and Lalah Pakootas; siblings: Billie Taylor (Randy), Tamara Finley, Roy Leith III, Victoria Circle and James Leith; one nephew and numerous nieces.
