Deedigail Louise Johnson of Spokane Valley, Washington, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016. She was  born in Grand Coulee, Washington, on September 26, 1969, to Charlie and Norma Johnson. Deedi was the second oldest of six children.

Deedi graduated from Lake Roosevelt High School in 1987. On June 3, 1991, Deedi gave birth to her pride and joy, her daughter, Brittany. They lived in the Tri-City area for a while, but her and her daughter settled in the Spokane area in 1998.

Deedi had many jobs growing up, but she loved being a health-care provider. She was passionate about working with mentally challenged people. Because of her passion, her clients grew to love her very much.

Deedi may only have had one biological child, but there were many more that considered her as "mom."

She had two beautiful grandbabies, Nathaniel (2) and Mary Jane (1), whom she loved and adored so very much. Deedi also had many others that considered her "grandma" and/or "nana."

Deedi was always willing to help those in need, even if she had fallen on hard times herself.

Deedi is preceded in death by her mom, Norma Faye Johnson; grandparents, Elisha and Lydia Johnson; three aunts, two uncles, and one cousin.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittany; two grandbabies, Nathaniel and Mary Jane; her dad, Charlie (Nancy) Johnson; five brothers: Ray (Carol) Moore, Charles and Christopher Johnson, Ryan and David Fish; three sisters: Charlenne (Johnson) Foreman, Betty Johnson, and Danila (Andy) Tiff; four nieces, four nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
