Obituary
Darsilla (Darcy) Lee Mast, 72, died Monday, June 27, 2016, at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Washington. She was born August 17, 1943, in Tonasket, Washington, to parents Ralph and Dardenella Netherton.
Darsilla was raised in Oroville and graduated from Oroville High in 1961. After graduating, she married Ralph Mast. In their 54 years of marriage, Darcy and Ralph, a park manager, lived in many different Washington State Parks around the state. Upon retiring in 1998, they settled in Coulee City, Washington, where Darsilla became active in the community, especially the senior center, until a stroke affected her mobility and she went into Long Term Care at Coulee Medical Center. There, she received very good care and made good friends among staff and fellow residents.
She is survived by her spouse, Ralph Mast; daughter, Pam J. (Terry) Lindsey, of Del City, Oklahoma; sister, Beverly Keil, of Spokane, Washington; uncle, Laurence Netherton, of Sea-Tac, Washington; grandchildren: Alyssa (John) Hooper, of Oklahoma City, and Jacob (Brittany) Lindsey, Del City, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren: Alaysha Hooper and Amaya Hooper of Oklahoma City.
Darcy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dardenella Netherton.
A graveside memorial will be held at the Oroville Riverview Cemetery Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to your local Senior Center.
