Correction

It was Electric City Councilmember Aaron Derr who made the motion to hear the Economic Development Council’s report on its consolidation survey rather than Councilmember Rich Mcguire. Derr went on to vote yes on the motion along with members Birdie Hensley and Lonna Bussert. McGuire and Brad Parrish voted no on the motion at the Aug. 9 council meeting. The motion passed and the report was given. The Star regrets the error.
