Free yard waste dumping at Delano transfer station

Delano resident Gerald Dotson gets rid of his garden waste Monday afternoon. There's still plenty of time to take advantage of a period of free dumping at the Delano Regional Transfer Station. The garden waste fall cleanup started Nov. 12 and ends Saturday, Nov. 19. Hours for the fall cleanup are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Maximum length for tree limbs is six feet. - Roger S. Lucas photo
