Police
11/7 - An Electric City man reported to police that someone threw something into the path of his vehicle and broke the windshield.
- A dog that constantly barks at a residence on E. Grand Coulee Avenue attracted police again. The owner of the dog had been cited earlier; still the complaints come in. No one was home at the time, so the police are going to issue another citation.
- Police checked on a report of a dog being neglected on Dill Avenue. The dog was tangled in his leash, but it appeared to be too aggressive to it get unravelled.
11/8 - Police found two men and their vehicle on a closed area between Electric City and Delano. They said they were looking for a friend’s car that had been reportedly dumped there. The officer checked the men and found that one was wanted on a warrant. He was taken to Grant County jail.
- Police were called about a dog in distress on Burdin Boulevard. They found that a dog had pups and one was stuck under a tree.
- An Electric City couple told police that while they were eating at a restaurant someone had backed into their van.
- A man walking in the roadway on SR-155 was wanted on a warrant for his arrest. He was taken to Grant County jail.
11/9 - A Grand Coulee woman told police that her red Ford Ranger was stolen while it was on the city’s Main Street. She advised police of whom she suspected.
11/10 - A woman flagged down officers, saying she had seen someone sneaking around vehicles. Police looked for the person but didn’t find him.
- A Dill Avenue man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken to Grant County jail.
11/11 - A Grand Coulee man was arrested and released and will be charged with driving with a suspended license, using an unlawful trip permit, and having expired tabs and no insurance.
11/12 - A Nespelem woman was charged with driving while under the influence after being stopped between Coulee Dam and Grand Coulee. Charges include DUI, operating a vehicle without insurance and making illegal lane changes.
- Police checked on a report that there was a burglary in progress at B Street Bud. Police arrived and were let in by the owner. There was no evidence of a burglary.
- Police noticed a Douglas County man wanted on a warrant, stopped the vehicle he was riding in and took him to Grant County jail. Police found a baggie with a crystal substance inside and are sending it to the Washington State Crime Lab.
11/13 - Two puppies, valued at $100 each, were taken from a house on Kent Street in Electric City but later returned.
- A woman on Second Street was arrested and taken to Grant County jail on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

11/7 - Police checked on a “suspicious person” who was looking through a trash bin behind Harvest Foods. The person was gone when police arrived.
11/8 - School officials reported that a 14-year-old boy punched another 14-year-old boy twice with a closed fist, then left the campus. The incident was caught on camera and the boy’s parole officer was notified.
11/11 - Police investigated a two-car accident on River Drive and Birch Street. No one was injured. The two drivers exchanged insurance information. After that accident, one of the drivers had also backed into a car parked on Birch Street. Police took photos of all three vehicles.
11/12 - A person on Camas Street reported that a male who appeared intoxicated rang his doorbell, then walked away. Police could not find him.
