Donald Earl Campbell, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Don was born on June 9, 1938, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, to James Angus and Gertrude Perkins Campbell.
In March of 1957, Don met his soulmate, LaVerne Brumley. They were married on April 6, 1957. They had four children. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.
Don was first and foremost a gentleman. He had the best sense of humor. He loved music, dancing, Wendover and drinks with friends. Don loved to tease everyone and he was always up for a game of pinochle. Don was an amazing billiard player and you could always find him swimming when the weather was warm.
Don is survived by his wife of 60 years, Laverne Campbell; his two daughters: Cristy (Bryan) Thompson, Sunset, Utah, and Betty Campbell, Clearfield, Utah; his two sisters: Linda (Lad) Flowers, Electric City, Washington, and Sheila (Tom) Fowlkes, Juneau, Alaska; his brother, Roy (Caroline) Campbell, Spokane, Washington; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his two sons, Donny and Danny Campbell; his grandson, Brandon Campbell; his brothers, Tom and Jim; and his sisters, Faye and Patricia,

Don will be sorely missed.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy, Utah.
