The Lake Roosevelt Raiders golf team competed on their home course at Banks Lake on Wednesday and Thursday last week, with LR being the team medalist each time and producing the individual medalist.
Lake Roosevelt's team score was 402 on Wednesday against Pateros, Oroville, and Almira Coulee-Hartline. LR's team score on Thursday was 415.
Darin Whiteman was the individual medalist both days, with a score of 83 for both matches.
"Both our home matches last week came off very well," Head Coach Steve Files said. "There were a few squalls, but otherwise the weather held up for us."
"It was a long week for our kids," Files noted. "Our entire season has been squeezed into a little over a month due to the weather."
The golf team competed yesterday at Lake Woods Golf Course in Bridgeport, results of which will be reported next week.
The next golf event will be Monday, May 8, at Suntides Golf Course, all the way down in Yakima. Then on Wednesday, May 10, they will compete at the Oroville Golf Course.
