On Mondays, the district will treat in Electric City and Sunbanks Lake Resort; Tuesday at Steamboat Rock State Park and Osborn Bay; Wednesday in Grand Coulee; Thursday in Electric City and Sunbanks; Friday at Steamboat Rock State Park and Osborn Bay; Saturday at the airport and golf course; and Sunday in Grand Coulee.
The schedule is subject to change for weather, wind, and rain.
The district has only one licensed applicator at this time, Tim Weibe, who can be contacted by phone at 509-301-2541.
A statement released by the district stated that as of May 12, there were no mosquito hatchings in Banks Lake. Most, the statement noted, were coming from the back yards of residents, stock tanks, wet grasses and on top of the coulee from small ponds.
The mosquito district has stated that when officials find larvae in Banks Lake they will aerial spray Arial larvicide.
It was reported that the district fog spray will be Duet Adulticide.
For additional information the public is invited to contact one of the following five commissioners: Diane Canady, Lynda Anderson, Hank Weibe, Carl Russell or Randy Gumm.
