Town of Coulee Dam

RESOLUTION NO. 2017-06

A RESOLUTION declaring the intention of the Town Council to adopt for the Town of Coulee Dam the classification of noncharter code city, to be governed by the provisions of Title 35A, Revised Code of Washington.

WHEREAS, a majority of the Town Council of the Town of Coulee Dam has determined that it would serve the best interests and general welfare of the Town to change the classification of the Town to that of noncharter code city pursuant to the provisions of RCW 35A.02.030,

Now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF COULEE DAM as follows:

Section 1. The Town Council does hereby declare its intention to adopt for the Town of Coulee Dam the classification of “noncharter code city.”

Section 2. That it is the intention of the Town Council to retain the plan of government under which it is presently organized, to wit: the Mayor-Council plan.

Section 3. That the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this resolution once within ten (10) days of the resolution’s passage.

Section 4. That if no timely and sufficient referendum petition has been filed, as is provided for in Section 35A.02.035 RCW, within ninety (90) days of the first publication of this resolution, excluding the date of first publication, the Town Council may by ordinance adopt for the Town of Coulee Dam the classification of “noncharter code city” under the Mayor-Council plan of government.

PASSED by a majority vote of the members of the Town Council this 14th day of June, 2017, and signed in authentication of its passage this 14th day of June, 2017.

PUBLIC NOTICE

GRAND COULEE DAM AIRPORT DBE GOALS

Port District #7 and Grand Coulee Dam Airport hereby announce their overall goals for fiscal years: 2017 goal of 5.0 percent and 2018 through 2020 goal of 1.9 percent for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) on airport contracts. The proposed goals and methodology rationale are available for inspection at http://www.to-engineersplanroom.com under “Public Jobs” for 30 days from the date of this publication.
