The Town of Elmer City will conduct a Public Meeting to decide how to allocate TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT tab fee funds. Said meeting will be held at Elmer City Town Hall, 505 Seaton Ave., Elmer City, WA, on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 6:50 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the City of Electric City will hold a public hearing to consider revenue sources for the 2018 budget, including consideration of possible increases in property tax revenues on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 5:45 p.m. at the Electric City Hall, 10 Western Avenue, Electric City, Washington. TOWN OF COULEE DAM
ORDINANCE NO. 749
AN ORDINANCE adopting for the Town of Coulee Dam the classification of noncharter code city pursuant to the Optional Municipal Code of the State of Washington, Chapter 35A RCW.
WHEREAS, the Town Council by Resolution No. 2017-06 passed June 14, 2017, declared its intention to adopt for the Town of Coulee Dam the classification of noncharter code city retaining the mayor-council plan of government under which it is now operating; and
WHEREAS, said resolution was duly published in a newspaper of general circulation within the Town of Coulee Dam as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a period not less than ninety (90) days from the date of said resolution’s publication, excluding the date of the first publication, has elapsed and no timely and sufficient referendum petition has been filed, pursuant to Section 35A.02.035 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council now desires to effect the intent expressed in said Resolution No. 2017-06 by enacting an ordinance adopting for the town the classification of noncharter code city in the manner hereinafter provided,
Now, Therefore,
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF COULEE DAM, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. There is hereby adopted for the Town of Coulee Dam, Washington, the classification of noncharter code city retaining the mayor-council plan of government under which the Town of Coulee Dam is currently operating, and retaining the same general plan of government under which the Town of Coulee Dam is currently organized but governed according to Chapter 35A.12 RCW of the Optional Municipal Code.
Section 2. The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward to the Secretary of State a certified copy of this ordinance for filing pursuant to Section 35A.02.040 RCW.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.

Budget Workshop Meeting
The Town of Elmer City will hold a meeting on October 12, 2017, at 6 p.m., at City Hall for the purpose of working on the 2018 Elmer City Budget. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to provide written or oral comments at said meeting. Elmer City Town Hall is located at 505 Seaton Avenue, and is accessible to the handicapped.

Change Office Hours and Monthly Council Meeting
Whereas, there has been little activity on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the work can get done in 3 days, the Town Council will change the office hours to 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesday through Friday.
Monthly council meetings will also be changed to the second Wednesday of each month.
