Chamber to Meet
The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon this Thursday, January 4, at Siam Palace in Grand Coulee. General business is on the agenda.
American Legion to Meet
The American Legion Post 157 holds legion meetings on the second Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, at the Vets Center in Electric City.
Lions Club Meets January 16
The GCD Lions Club will be meeting at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, January 16, at the Melody Restaurant in Coulee Dam.
Coulee Creators Meet on Tuesdays
Coulee Creators meet at 412 Federal Ave. Room 207, Grand Coulee. Contact Marlene Oddie at KISSed Quilts or 509-386-5715 for further details. Hours are normally Tuesdays 1-4 p.m., on Jan. 8, 9-5 p.m., All Day Sew-in. Stop by and get started on something new in 2018!
Historical society to meet
The Grant County Historical Society Board will hold its monthly meeting
on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Ephrata American Legion Post at
276 8th Ave NW.
The board meeting is at 11 a.m., lunch is served at noon. We will not have a program this month. Lunch will be served by the American Legion staff for $7.50. The board will be
working on updating policies on conflict of interest, code of ethics,
etc., as well as working on our 2018 budget and election of officers for 2018.
Members are invited to attend the board meeting. If you
plan to attend and have lunch, please call Stephanie at 509-398-5186 to
make lunch reservations. Heritage meetings with a speaker will resume in
February.
