Town of Elmer City
OPEN COUNCIL SEAT
The Town of Elmer City has an open council seat. The mayor and council invite any Elmer City residents who are interested in filling the position to please attend our next council meeting on January 11 at 7 p.m. After hearing from all interested persons, the council will vote to select one person to be a temporary council member. The selected person will fill the seat until the November 2019 election. Elmer City Town Hall is located at 505 Seaton Avenue, and is accessible to the handicapped.

Multi-Use Path Project
INVITATION TO BID
Bids will be received at the Town of Elmer City, at the reception desk of City Hall, 505 Seaton Ave., Elmer City, WA 99124, until January 31, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Bids will be opened and read publicly immediately following the close of bid receipt. No late or faxed bids will be accepted.
There will be no pre-bid conference for this project; however, bidders may visit the site to view the existing conditions.
The project includes construction of an approximate 2,000 foot long by 8 foot wide paved asphalt path. The approximate cost of construction is $160,000.

Bid must be submitted on the forms provided with the Contract Documents. A 5% bid bond will be required. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful contractor. The contractor must be capable of meeting all insurance and bonding requirements.
This project is funded by the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB), and is subject to all applicable state laws and regulations. All work performed on this project will be subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates. Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) requirements apply to this project.
The Town of Elmer City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgment, accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest.
