PUBLIC NOTICE

The Colville Tribes Land Use Review Board will be holding a public hearing to make a ruling on the following shoreline development conditional use permits:

Washington State Department of Transportation has submitted a shoreline development application to conduct some geotechnical boring at the Keller Ferry landings and will include in-water boring. The location is within Township 28 North, Range 33 East, Section 8 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.

A public hearing for the above mentioned Shoreline Development Conditional Use Permit Applications will be conducted on Thursday February 22, 2018, at the Lucy Covington Government Facility (Colville Indian Agency) starting at 9:30 a.m. Written comments will be accepted until Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 4 p.m. or comments can be made verbally at the public hearing. All comments may be sent to Pete Palmer, Land Use/Shoreline Administrator, Public Works Department, P.O. Box 150, Nespelem, WA 99155 or they can be emailed to her attention at pete.palmer@colvilletribes.com. Contact the Tribal Public Works Department at the aforementioned address or phone number to request a copy of the permit documents.

Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County

PUBLIC NOTICE

Noxious weed consultants of the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County will begin inspecting properties on March 1, 2018, in accordance with RCW 17.10.160, for the purposes of general inspection, the taking of specimens of weeds, and the performance of eradication or control work. If there is any landowner who objects to these inspections, please notify the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County at (509) 754-2011, Ext. 4710, or (800) 572-0119, Ext. 4710, by March 1, 2018.

Grant County Mosquito Control District No. 2

NOTICE OF MEETING CHANGE

The Grant County Mosquito Control District No. 2 will change the date of it’s March meeting from Thursday, March 8, to Friday, March 9. The meeting will be held at 7 pm at the GCMCD#2 meeting room located at 210 W. Coulee Blvd., in Electric City, WA. The following month’s meeting will be as regularly scheduled on the second Thursday of the month.

Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County PUBLIC NOTICE

The Grant County roadside spray program will begin approximately March 1, 2018. The roadside spray contractor is Basin Tree Service and Pest Control, Inc. of Ephrata, Washington. An applicator of the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County will spot spray as necessary.
