The community will see its children perform "The Snow Queen" at this year's Missoula Children's Theater production this Saturday, March 10.
Saturday will see performances at 2 p.m. and at 6 p.m., both held at the Lake Roosevelt High School gym.
This will be the PTA's fifth time bringing the Missoula Children's Theatre to the Grand Coulee area.
Local people attending will see some 60 local children from kindergarten through the 12th grade perform the musical.
Spokesperson Kim Stout said children in the musical have been practicing since Monday and will continue to do so through Friday.
The Missoula Children's Theatre group brings two directors, all the props and costumes.
Stout said that pre-sale tickets are available at the LRHS gym after school all week long.
Pre-sale tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors. The higher price on pre-sale tickets guarantees seating choices.
Tickets at the door are $12 for adults and $7 for seniors.
Stout said this is the first season for the MCT group to offer "The Snow Queen" as its performance.
The local PTA pays $3,500 for the group to come. "With the ticket prices, the concessions, and business contributions, we hope to break even," Stout said.
Rebecca Hunt is president of the PTA.
