ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE TOWN OF COULEE DAM

Ordinance 757 – an ordinance of the Town of Coulee Dam, Washington, amending salaries and wages for officers and employees of the Town for the calendar year 2018 and repealing Ordinance No. 750.

Grant County Mosquito Dist. #2

PUBLIC NOTICE

Grant County Mosquito Control District #2 has begun to prepare for the larvicide/adulticide application season. The district will be utilizing multiple insecticides for 2018. These include Altosid, Natular G30, Duet, Wisdom, Biomist and Vectobac GS. The active ingredients of these insecticides are Methoprene, Spinosad, Sumithrin, Piperonyl, Butoxide, Prallethrin, Bifenthrin and Permethrin. Applications will continue through August 2018, all of which are weather dependent. More information about the insecticides planned for use can be found at http://www.clarke.com and http://www.adapco.com. Treatment locations will be within the mosquito control district boundary which is roughly within the canyon walls from the south end of Steamboat Rock to the north end of the Grant County line. The Washington State Department of Ecology Aquatic Pesticides Permit Manager is Heather Bartlett and she can be reached at (360) 407-6405. The NPDES permitee is Tim Wiebe of GCMCD#2. The Board of the Grant County Mosquito District #2 has authorized for sale by sealed bids the following items:

• 13 gals of paint

Bids are due by 4 o’clock on May 9 and will be opened at the regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 10. Items can be made available for the public to see by contacting Ken Anderson at 509-631-2761 and Carl Russell at 509-631-4322. Please call for bid specifications regarding the building.
