Loch given award

Two local Lions Club members attended the recent Lions International Multi District 19-Spring Conference in Worley, Idaho.

Attending were Rob Loch and Birdie Hensley. Loch was honored by the group and given a certificate of appreciation for his “distinguished leadership” this past year as zone chairman for MD19-E2, which covers clubs from Almira, Davenport, Grand Coulee Dam, Reardan and Wilbur.

Loch was nominated for the award by outgoing 19-E District Governor Harry Lippincott. Loch has been a member of the local club since 2010.

The Grand Coulee Dam club was chartered in Lions International in 1938.
