Jarred-Michael Erickson leads Janet (Wak Wak) Nicholson by just one vote in the Saturday polling for Nespelem Position 1 on the Colville Business Council, one of seven seats up for election.
The poll vote was certified Monday, but can change dramatically as absentee ballots are counted later this week.
Nicholson held the edge 50-51, followed by Charlene Bearcub, 30; Joaquin Marchand, 27; and Anna Vargas, 20.
Andrea George held only a two-point lead over Darnell Sam for Nespelem Position 2, 56-54, followed by Sheilah Cleveland, 40; and Jonnie Bray, 27.
For Keller Position 1, Joseph Somday led with 35, followed by Darlene Zacherle, 13; Randolph Tonasket, 9; and John Stensgar, 6.
In Omak, Richard Moses held the lead for Position 1 with 66 votes, followed by Edwin Marchand’s 41, Lisa True’s 35, Ronald Best’s 9, and Lola Campbell’s 7.
Russell Boyd leads for Omak Position 2, with 66 votes. He’s followed by Margie Hutchinson, 39; Michael Marchand, 35; and Shirley Charlie, 17.
For Inchelium Position 1, Marvin Kheel led with 68 votes. Georgia Simpson had 23; Dayna Seymour, 19; and Jennifer Phillips, 7.
Richard Swan led the race for Inchelium’s Position 2 with 45 votes, followed by Larry Allen, 32; Shelly Boyd, 20; Bessie Simpson, 11; and Kimsqualhine “Joe” Baulne, 7.
