Board of Supervisors

PUBLIC NOTICE

A polling site election for an open position on the Grant County Conservation District Board of Supervisors will be held on February 12, 2019 from 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the Grant County Conservation District, 1107 S Juniper Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837.

 Interested candidates must be registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District.  Candidates may be required to be landowners or operators of a farm, depending on the current composition of the District board of supervisors.  The filing deadline for candidates to file their candidate information is January 15, 2019 by 4:30 PM.  Interested candidates must file their candidate information at the following location, Grant County Conservation District, 1107 S Juniper Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837.

 Eligible voters are registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District.  The last day and time that voters can request absentee ballots from the District is January 22, 2019 by 4:30 PM.  Absentee ballots can be requested from Grant County Conservation District, Lyle Stoltman, 1107 S Juniper Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837, (509) 765-9618, or email lyle-stoltman@conservewa.net.

 A conservation district supervisor is a public official who serves without compensation and who sets policy and direction for the conservation district.  The published election procedures can be viewed at the District office and are available from the Washington State Conservation Commission at http://scc.wa.gov/.

PUBLIC HEARING

2019 PRELIMINARY BUDGET

The Grand Coulee City Council will conduct a public hearing on December 4, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. prior to the regular city council meeting to receive public input on the 2019 Budget. The public hearing will be at the Grand Coulee City Hall, 306 Midway, P. O. Box 180, Grand Coulee, WA 99133. The city hall is accessible for persons with disabilities.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive the public’s oral or written comments concerning the 2019 Budget.
