2/18 - A man and woman on Dill Avenue agreed to separate for the night following an incident involving a knife and a deodorant bottle.

2/19 - An Electric City man and woman gave up ownership of a husky dog they couldn’t keep contained in their yard, which had recently been running at large. A Sunny Drive man had taken possession of the dog while it was running at large this time, and can rehome the dog as he sees fit, the police report states.

- A driver known to have a suspended license was pulled over near the intersection of Coulee Boulevard and Miller Avenue. He was wanted on a warrant out of Lincoln County and was taken to their jail.

- A man working on a home on Grand Avenue reported a burglary of about $1,150 worth of tools from the home, where the back door was open and the door jam broken off. Footprints in the snow led to near the neighbors’ carport, but they weren’t home. Police advised the man to secure the door the best he could and to think about installing security cameras. The place had been broken into previously.

- Nothing was out of place when police investigated a burglar alarm that went off at the Banks Lake Pub.

2/21 - An officer investigated a reported domestic violence situation on Burdin Boulevard, but when they spoke to an intoxicated man and woman, both told police they were just having a verbal argument. The officer noted no signs of injury or damage in the residence, and that the man passed out on the couch.

- A man reported being held against his will by his girlfriend and her mother at a residence on Roosevelt Drive. The two women were arrested for assault and unlawful imprisonment and taken to Grant County Jail. They said the man was “acting crazy” and didn’t want him to leave. They allegedly held him to the ground, and the man said his girlfriend had choked him. The man had a cut on his lip and was taken to the hospital. The girlfriend admitted to standing in front of a doorway after he got off the ground, but said she had let him leave after he “came at” her.

- A woman reported that a blue Dodge truck had backed out of a driveway onto Prims Place and swerved at her, causing her to swerve as well.

- An officer saw a man jaywalking at the intersection of SR-155 and SR-174. The officer spoke with him, discovered he was wanted on a warrant, took him back to the police station and waited there to transfer the man to another officer.

2/22 - A woman on Batchelor Square wanted her son to leave her residence. The son was leaving when the officer arrived. The officer gave him a ride to the casino.

2/23 - A Ronald Drive woman reported that a white Ford truck struck her van while it was parked outside her home. Neighbors told her the make and model of the vehicle. There was damage to the van’s driver-side door. The responding officer looked for a truck with signs of the accident.

2/24 - A woman was concerned about her “boyfriend,” an Everett man who had gone fishing the previous day and was not returning her calls. The man’s daughter said he stayed at Center Lodge. The woman was relieved.

2/25 - The Okanogan County Sheriff asked for an officer’s assistance in bringing a spike strip to help with a pursuit of a vehicle on SR-155 “just passing the summit.” The vehicle crashed at SR-155 and Coyote Creek while the officer was en route to assist.

- An officer helped push a woman’s car out of the snow near Crescent Bay.

- A Roosevelt Drive woman reported that another woman had dementia and had wandered off, but later found her intoxicated in an alley near Loepp Furniture.

Coulee Dam

2/19 - An officer delivered a message to a Holly Street woman from the Toppenish police station to call them as soon as possible.

2/20 - An officer advised an Elmer City woman as to how to file an anti-harassment order or no-contact order with the county. The officer told the woman to contact police again if she was harassed again.

2/21 - A woman reportedly separated from, and going through a divorce with, her husband, said he won’t give her some items back. The officer said that was a civil matter and to contact an attorney about the items.
