Parents watch as their children get credit for performances and backstage help after the Missoula Children's Theatre productions of "The Frog Prince" Saturday in the Lake Roosevelt High School gym. MCT cast the play after auditions on Monday, practiced with the kids each day after school, and produced the play in two performances on Saturday, at 2 and 6 p.m. It involved a cast of 51 actors up to 18 years old in parts ranging from frogs, including swamp-type (Reniff Herndon) and prince-type (Noah Hunt), to knights (Aliah Capshaw, Trevor Johnson, Veronica Tynan, Thomas Sharr, Arayia Fink) to Venus fly traps (Layla Kontos, Kyla White, Dakota Hunt, Kinley Turner, Aydan Paslay, Atticus Allen, Jamie Dobson, Sage Green, Macy Paslay, Kenzie Portch, Alexis White, Mia Tillman, Zaley Laramie, Karlyn Logue, Justice Stice) to ducks (Imana Green, Julien Shaffer, Eleanor Kontos, SonjaRai Heldman, Skyler Sorimpy) to swamp things (Marissa Burton, Ella Ferguson, Amelia McCuen, Amelia Wickizer, Geary Allen, Tommy Tynan, Chevy Clark, Nola Desautel, Emmaline Piturachsatit, Lexi Portch, Carter Marconi) to flamingos (Antya Cawston, Abby Rockwell, Natalie Vieira, Leighani Marconi, Jaelynn Vallee) to princesses Prim (Reagan Herndon), Proper (Lily Brandon) and Peepy (Celeste LaPlace), Ollie Aspen Tree (Emma Arbogast), Berta the Alligator (Sophia Paslay), to a fly (Lexi Rimpler) to Maria Von Flytrap and the queen (MCT's Serenity Jones).
