SUMMARY OF ORDINANCES PASSED

OF THE CITY OF ELECTRIC CITY, WASHINGTON

On the 14th day of May 2019 the City Council of Electric City passed the following ordinances. A summary of the content of said ordinances, consisting of the title, provides as follows:

ORDINANCE NO. 538-2019

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELECTRIC CITY, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 2.10.060 “FIRE CHIEF - REMOVAL” OF THE ELECTRIC CITY MUNICIPAL CODE

ORDINANCE No. 539-2019

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2019 BUDGET of the City of Electric City, AS ADOPTED IN ORDINANCE No. 537-2018.

Town of Nespelem

Notice of Public Hearings

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Town of Nespelem and CCT Planning Department at the Town of Nespelem – Town Hall, on May 29, 2019 @ 5:00 PM.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons.

Up to $12,000 may be available to the Town of Nespelem on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low – and moderate-income persons. An outline of the proposed Nespelem Asset Management Plan project will be available for review at the Town of Nespelem – Town Hall, on May 29, 2019 @ 5:00 PM.

Comments may be also be submitted in writing to Town of Nespelem no later than June 4, 2019.

The Colville Indian Housing Authority is Requesting Proposals from Indian owned and non-Indian owned firms to furnish labor and materials for five (5) projects.

• Sundust 1129 Kewa Meteor Rd. Inchelium, WA 99138: Construct ADA Ramp, Bathroom renovation, & interior flooring.

• Huckins 723 Dayton St. South Omak, WA 98841: Construct ADA Ramp, Bathroom Renovation, & interior flooring.

• Charley 722 Jackson St, Omak, WA 98841: Bathroom renovation.

• #0210 Moccasin Rest Community Site, Inchelium, WA 99138: ACM Abatement Project.

• #0066 Nespelem Community Site, Nespelem, WA 99155:ACM Abatement Project.

All work and materials will be detailed in the scopes of work for the individual projects.
