6/27 - A burglary alarm at the Banks Lake Pub turned out to be a guy who was there to clean the taps.

- Colville Tribal Natural Resources informed police about a vehicle that appeared to have been stripped and dumped on the reservation. Police were unable to contact the registered owners of the vehicle. Natural Resources said they would be towing the vehicle.

- A Safeway employee said a bluetooth speaker, an MP3 player, and some CDs were stolen out of his car, which had been locked but with the windows down a bit because of the summer hear.

- A man said his Hill Avenue apartment door latch was damaged when he returned home a couple days prior. Asked why he didn’t report it sooner, the man said he hadn’t gotten around to it.

- A woman reported several items stolen from her apartment by an out-of-town friend who was visiting. The officer was unable to get a clear timeline of events from the complainant, whose recollection changed during questioning. She said items stolen included over $300 in cash, 25 pairs of shoes, a DVD player, a television, some papers, and a ring. The woman called later to say her wallet was also missing.

- A woman’s friends were helping her move out of an apartment on Electric Boulevard. During an argument between her roommate and a friend, one of the friends allegedly grabbed the roommate’s hair, at which point the roommate grabbed her legs and pulled them out from under her. Neither wished to press charges.

- A man wanted his ex-girlfriend to leave his place on Grand Avenue. The landlord wanted her banned from the property. She grabbed some belongings and left.

6/28 - A man was reported to be peaking over fences into yards on Sandy Lane. Officers spoke with a man matching the description, who said he was just out walking. The officers said it wasn’t a good idea to be looking into people’s yards. No crime was committed.

- A missing 3-year-old in Grand Coulee was actually in her caretaker’s apartment, hiding behind some clothes and not answering when called.

6/29 - A driver was pulled over on Dill Avenue after an officer recognized him, ran his name, and discovered he was wanted on a warrant. He was taken to Grant County Jail.

7/1 - Responding to a call of a possible burglary at H&H Grocery, an officer found a man he recognized swinging a wooden boat paddle. The man put the paddle down at the officer’s request and was said to be speaking fast gibberish, talking about white fluffy orbs around and on the lake, which he said took his keys and flashlight and wanted to know if anything was recorded. The man was free to go.
