7/2 - An officer arrived at a Goodfellow Avenue residence following up on a report of a fight. A woman answered wrapped in a towel, and said she had been arguing with a friend who had since left, and that the fight was verbal only.

7/3 - An officer stood by at Spring Canyon while a National Park Service officer took pictures of graffiti on a building there.

- A woman reported that a man had been with her when she cashed her Social Security check worth $1,294 at the Coulee Dam Casino. The man then handed her the cash in the parking lot. The next day she counted the cash as $132 dollars. The officer told her to report the crime to the Coulee Dam Police Department as the crime had occurred there.

- A screen had been removed from the window of the Spring Canyon Apartments office. It appeared that someone had attempted to open the window but that neither it nor the door had been broken into.

- Someone reported fireworks being lit in the area of Jackson Avenue and Grand Avenue in Electric City. The people lighting the fireworks were found to be doing so legally. The reporting party was informed it was legal to light the fireworks until 11 p.m.

7/4 - An officer responded to a report of two people sleeping in a car at the hospital. One of the people said they were there to see a patient, and decided to sleep in the car before leaving. They left without incident.

- A man in the area of Park Avenue said he was supposed to have a drink with a neighbor across the street, but the neighbor wasn’t answering the door. An officer checked on the neighbor who said he was in the bathroom and would be out in a minute. The neighbors were able to talk and all was well.

- A man lighting fireworks on E Street in Grand Coulee was informed they were illegal in the city. The man said he was done.

- Police assisted the Electric City Fire Department by telling people if they didn’t put out their fires as instructed by the fire department they would receive infraction citations. The people cooperated after police told them to do so.

7/5 - Officers spoke with people arguing at Coulee Playland. The argument was verbal only.

- Two dogs were chasing kittens on Fortuyn Road. An officer took the husky pups to their Burdin Boulevard home.

7/4 - A driver hit another person’s parked vehicle on Stevens Avenue while navigating the tight parking for the Fourth of July Festival.
