Local artist Keith Powell answers questions about his art at an event at the Grand Coulee Library Sept. 5. Powell spoke about his past, present, and future, with stories about some of his work, and anecdotes from his life, as well as pieces of history that inspired him. One of the works he showed was a steel eagle head (to left in photo) he is working on by hitting the cold steel over an anvil with a hammer.
