10/11 - A woman on Dill Avenue reported seeing Iranian terrorists when she closed her eyes — one wearing a black mask and one with a beard. She said she had called the army, who told her to call 911. Police documented the incident.

- A girl was reportedly waving at cars frantically on the corner of Banker Street and SR-174. She said she was trying to get a ride to Spokane because her brother was getting his foot amputated. Police told her to not act like she was in need of immediate assistance because people were concerned for her. She said she understood.

- A Grand Coulee officer assisted Coulee Dam police with an accident on Birch Street in Coulee Dam. There was a damaged newer Subaru parked on the road, and another vehicle a couple houses ahead. The passenger of that vehicle was in pain and taken to the hospital. Coors beer cans and bottles were wedged under the driver’s seat, and marijuana was also found, according to the officers report. The driver was given a sobriety test and was unsuccessful in giving a breathalyzer sample. Coulee Dam police took her to Okanogan County Jail.

10/12 - A woman on Coulee Boulevard reported damage to a parking cone she had placed in the back parking lot of apartments there. A yard sale across the street brought people to the parking lot, blocking her in at one point, she said. The woman said she will review her video footage to see if she could see the plates of a black truck said to have run over the cone.

10/13 - A leather belt shell holder containing 10 .3006-caliber bullets were found in the Safeway bathroom.

- A driver was cited with driving under the influence and failure to use an ignition interlock after being pulled over near the causeway in Electric City. Police followed the vehicle after a report that someone was driving intoxicated leaving the 76 gas station towards Electric City.

- A man reported that two people may have broken into his storage unit along SR-174 and fled. He followed them, and they went to a Cardinal Road address. Police spoke to the suspects, who said they were looking in a black bag near the units. One of them said a cat jumped out of the bag and scared them. Both stories were similar. Police were allowed to search the vehicle for the missing items, which weren’t found. The reporting party was told this and thanked police for their help.
