10/14 - A passenger-side window was broken on a car at the Hill Street apartments. The roommate of the owner of the car suspected it was a woman kicked out of the apartment the night before. Nothing was noted as missing.

- A Grand Coulee officer was in Coulee Dam outside the casino with one of their officers when the Coulee Dam officer approached a woman known to be wanted on a warrant. She got into her car and backed into the Coulee Dam officer’s passenger door. The Grand Coulee officer hit the driver’s window with his baton, and she was detained by the Coulee Dam officer. The vehicle was seized by the Coulee Dam Police Department.

10/15 - A man wanted on a felony theft warrant was the passenger in a vehicle pulled over in a parking lot along SR-155 near the dam. He was arrested and taken to jail.

10/16 - Police assisted in the exchange of information between two drivers involved in an accident in the Safeway parking lot.

10/17 - A truck was in the street of Roosevelt Drive with its engine running for over an hour. The driver was talking to another person and said he was about ready to leave. An officer told him to pull over to the curb next time.

10/18 - Police were unable to locate a vehicle said to be driving erratically in the area of Spokane Way.

- A pair of keys found on Stevens Avenue in Electric City was recorded as found property.

- A man borrowed another’s horse trailer to move. He had parked it along Alcan Road, but when he returned later that day it wasn’t there. He tried to contact the owner to see if he had taken it, but was unable to reach him.

- A man said he would remove his trailer from a woman’s property, and was told by police that he was banned from the property, as well.

- An F Street resident said she wanted a woman banned from her property after an encounter with her. She said the woman appeared intoxicated, and took off in a red vehicle. Police found the subject at her residence. She was arrested on a warrant out of Lincoln County and taken to the jail there.

10/19 - One man pushed down another at a gas station, pouring out the man’s Mountain Dew, which he had thought was stolen. A receipt proved that not to be true, so the pourer bought a new soda for his victim, who then declined to press charges.

10/20 - A four-wheeler type vehicle evidently drove on the Banks Lake Golf Course, breaking the flags at holes 11 and 12 and leaving tire marks on the greens. Police spoke to owners of four wheelers at Osborne Bay, who said they didn’t do it.

Coulee Dam Police

10/7 - Police responded to a non-injury accident at Roosevelt Way and River Drive. A driver had hit the car in front of him when that car had stopped to wait for an oncoming vehicle before turning left.

10/8 - Two dogs at large were harassing a person in the area of Pine Street. Colville Tribal Animal Control was called, and the dogs were placed in the absent owner’s yard.

10/10 - A man said another man punched him in the face while he was eating his lunch outside Harvest Foods. Video surveillance showed the two outside the store, taking on fighting stances. When one put his hands down, the other punched him in the face about five times. They then shook hands and left. The two had been texting about fighting each other for a while.

10/13 - Two men were arrested on warrants when spotted at Harvest Foods.

10/18 - Two dogs were reported running loose at the dam Visitor Center. While police were there, the owner showed up and told police she was looking for her dogs. The dogs were found on Columbia and loaded up by the owner.
