1/6 - A man and his aunt separated for the night after yelling at each other at their apartment on Hill Street. The aunt was mad he was smoking marijuana in the apartment.
- A man and woman on Burdin Boulevard were said to be too intoxicated to make sense of why broken things were on the floor when an officer spoke to them following a report of a possible fight in progress. The man said he was just making dinner.
1/7 - A woman who was paying rent to live in a shed on Dill Avenue agreed to move into a motorhome the next day after others wanted her out of the shed.
- A medium-sized white dog without tags was hit by a car and died at Coulee Playland on SR-155. Police notified city hall for removal.
12/21-1/7 - A ConAir hair cutter was stolen from Coulee Wall Variety Store, security footage revealed. The woman who stole them came back to the store and was confronted by an officer about the theft. She denied it until shown pictures from the security footage. She said it was Christmas and hard times. She was allowed to pay for the haircutters, but banned from the store.
1/8 - An unoccupied home on Wetzel Avenue had the front door open. The door was secured and nothing suspicious was found inside.
- Police checked a Grand Avenue residence for a woman wanted on an arrest warrant. No one was home.
- Police said they would add extra patrols on School Avenue where a homeowner reported a woman trying to open her door, also documented in a photograph from a security camera.
1/10 - A woman on Burdin Boulevard was told how to obtain a no-contact court order, after she told police that an ex-boyfriend had followed her from Florida and now causes problems for her.
1/10-1/12 - A woman reported items stolen from her Electric Boulevard home, including her son’s debit card, which was used and declined at Harvest Foods. Harvest Foods said they would pull security footage from when the card was used.
1/10 - A man provided insurance information after losing control of his car and sliding into a parked car on Banks Avenue.
- Police closed an open door on a motorhome on Roosevelt Avenue.
- A silver Ford Escape was reportedly speeding on Kelso Avenue in Electric City.
1/11 - A man wanted on a warrant was arrested and taken to jail after being stopped on Spokane Way.
- A man who hit a parked van on Main Street left the scene and went to Safeway, where police contacted him. The man said he would take care of the damage from the incident. The owner of the struck vehicle agreed to handle the situation with the man instead of going through insurance.

1/6 - A Lake Roosevelt High School student left his wallet unattended next to his bag in the locker room and returned to find it missing about $140. There were no cameras in the location nor suspects. The student was told to lock up his belongings in the future.
1/9 - A woman was arrested on an arrest warrant at the credit union and taken to jail, also charged with resisting arrest.
1/11 - An officer spoke to a man and woman on Tillmus Street. They were reportedly arguing over a pillow when the man wanted her to leave. She agreed to leave the next day. The officer’s report stated that no crime had occurred.
1/12 - A Chevy Malibu with expired tabs was pulled over on SR-155. The vehicle was towed and the occupants allowed to walk home. The driver asked the officer to put the paperwork in the mailbox at his house, which the officer agreed to do. He didn’t want to wait around in the cold but rather to make his way home.
