Horn wrestling at top Division II college

Kaleb Horn, a Lake Roosevelt wrestling alum and current St. Cloud State University freshman wrestler, finished third place Jan. 11 at the Ridgewater University Open in Minnesota in the 141-pound class.

The NCAA Division II wrestler now has a fifth-place and third-place win under his belt for St. Cloud, which is ranked number one in the U.S. for Division II wrestling.

“I think it’s really awesome,” Horn said about wrestling at the college level. “It’s way different from high school so far. It’s way tougher. It definitely takes a different mindset, but I love it.”

This Saturday, Horn will be wrestling at a tournament in Worthington, Minnesota.
