The Lake Roosevelt Lady Raiders basketball team suffered a string of losses in the last week, both at home and away.
LR hosted Brewster Jan. 7, losing to the Lady Bears by just one point, 37-36.
The Lady Raiders hosted the Liberty Bell Lady Mountain Lions two days later, losing 52-39.
Allison Nomee and Audrey Hansen were LR's leading scorers with 10 points each, with Kyona Edmo adding eight.
Jozlyn Hansen had six rebounds for LR.
LR played on the road against the Lady Shockers in Waterville, Saturday, losing 62-27.
There Audrey Hansen was LR's leading scorer with 12 points, and had the most rebounds with eight.
Monday night, the Lady Raiders fell to the Lady Tigers in Odessa, 53-50, where they had led 29-15 at the half but were outscored 15-13 in the third quarter and 23-8 in the fourth.
Shyanne Marchand led LR with 11 points, followed by Ellie Hansen with 10, and Edmo with eight.
The Hansens all had their share of rebounds with Audrey pulling down eight, and Ellie and Jozlyn each pulling down five.
"Earlier in the year it was mentioned us being young and that lack of experience could hurt us," Assistant Coach Matthew Pleasants said. "The boat is filling with water and we have two options: let it sink or fix the boat so we can get wins against the tough opponents and not just win games against teams we are supposed to beat."
A home game against Manson was scheduled for Tuesday night after deadline, results of which will be reported in next week's Star.
LR is scheduled to go to Bridgeport on Friday, Jan. 17, to play at 6 p.m.
The next home game is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 6 p.m. when LR will host the Okanogan Lady Bulldogs, also at 6 p.m.
