2/4 - A Dill Avenue resident reported a man on his porch, dancing, yelling, and pounding on the glass door. An officer told him to go home and that the resident didn’t want him there. The man did so without incident.

- A Spokane Way homeowner said her maintenance person told her a sliding glass door was broken and wanted the incident documented. Police noted there was nothing inside to be stolen.

2/5 - Police responded to an accident on SR-174 near Crown Point Road where a semi truck and a Ford Fusion had collided. There was damage to both vehicles. USBR’s fire department helped get the driver out of her car. She was taken to the hospital.

- A man wanted on arrest warrants was taken to Grant County Jail after being spotted by an officer near SR-174 and Federal Avenue. Substances found on his person tested positive for methamphetamine.

- A man was given a speeding ticket for going 53 miles per hour in the 35 zone along SR-155 near Sun Banks Road.

2/7 - Another man was given a speeding ticket for going 51 miles per hour in the 35 zone along SR-155 near Sun Banks Road.

2/8 - Someone threw purple paint on a man’s truck on Sunset Drive and left an obscene message on a mason jar that contained the paint. A man and his wife have an unpleasant history with a man suspected of the vandalism. The suspect was found along Midway Avenue with some purple paint on his shirt and boots. He admitted to the vandalism and was cited for malicious mischief.

- A Dill Street woman reported being $11,000 overdrawn on her bank account out of Spokane due to a fraud. She is forwarding communication between her and a man on social media whom she said she’d allowed to make a deposit to her account because he was going to help with bills.

- A Hill Avenue woman had two tires slashed on her car in the parking lot of her apartment building. Estimated damage is $300.

2/2 - After pulling over a car with expired license tabs, an officer arrested the driver on an Okanogan County warrant for failure to appear in court on a third-degree theft charge.

2/3 - An officer took a girl wanted on a warrant for truancy to Okanogan County Juvenile Detention.

2/4 - A vehicle had its flashers on in the middle of a hill on the Elmer City Access Road. The driver didn’t have chains and was unable to get up the hill. Further down the hill, a truck was in the ditch. A relative of that driver came and helped them. Sand was eventually placed on the road.

- An officer assisted the US Bureau of Reclamation in clearing stuck cars from the hill on SR-155 near the Visitor Center so that USBR could plow and sand the road. Cars were moved to the side streets, which took about two hours. At one point the officer fell down on the ice onto his side.

2/5 - A 5-year-old child on Walnut Street called 911 by mistake.

2/7 - A Lake Roosevelt High School student was taken to county juvenile detention after admitting to hitting a student. The student, joined by several others, was reportedly following the other student trying to fight him. An officer spoke to some of the students present, and was going to speak to more in the future.

- Someone reportedly broke into The Melody restaurant and stole a bass speaker and head unit for the sound system. A television was still there but pulled away from the wall. Other speakers were also left there.

2/9 - A woman wanted on arrest warrants was arrested on Camas Street and taken to Okanogan County jail.

- A man was cited for driving under the influence after being pulled over along SR-155 in Elmer City for speeding.
